Aussies Abroad are pleased to announce, that we will once again be hosting a fabulous afternoon of fun, food and entertainment for friends & family – with a host of Australiana inclusions – to celebrate Australia Day here in the UAE. Friday 19 June at 7.30pm at Al Bathna Restaurant, Abu Dhabi Officers’ Club

Price is AED 125 per head (and kids under 10 years receive a 50% discount). This includes all taxes and surcharges but beverages, non alcoholic, are extra.

If you would like to enjoy a stronger beverage before or after dinner, you can do so at the Taverna which is one level above on the opposite side of the Club entry.

Peter promises you a wonderful experience, especially if you have never been to the Officers’ Club before. Arrive early and take some time to walk through and enjoy the military museum and other displays throughout the Club. Alternatively, spend some time in the Caracal shooting range or the bowling alley.

The Armed Forces Officers Club is the large bronze coloured building on your left just as you come off the Mussafa Bridge heading into Abu Dhabi and on the right, heading out of Abu Dhabi. Just follow the signs as it is on the opposite side of 30th street from the Zayed Mosque.

Monthly Aussie Drinks

Details :

Drinks are held montly for members and friends.  Everyone is welcome.  Come along and enjoy an evening of merriment and fund with freinds (happy hours end at 7.00pm but prices are still good).

Aussies-Abroad is introducing an arts register - Artsie Aussie - for members interested in the arts. You don't have to be a serious art/music lover or culture vulture to register. If you like going to concerts, exhibitions, galleries, museums, films and plays, Artsie Aussie is for you.
