Aussies-Abroad is introducing an arts register - Artsie Aussie - for members interested in the arts. You don't have to be a serious art/music lover or culture vulture to register. If you like going to concerts, exhibitions, galleries, museums, films and plays, Artsie Aussie is for you.
Anna Rogan will be coordinating the register, sending details of arts events to those who have signed up.
"It'll be a two-way process," she says, "I'm expecting contributions from members - news of events I'm not aware of, suggestions and recommendations. The info will then be collated and circulated to all on my mailing list.
"Once we get Artsie Aussie going, we can arrange small-group visits to certain events, so that members who have nobody to go with need not go solo.''
